I’ve always been drawn to structure beneath the surface. I miss the long-form, patient storytelling of 90’s television. Shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation or Buffy the Vampire Slayer weren’t in a rush. They trusted the audience to sit with an idea. I tend to work the same way — not slowly, but deliberately. I like understanding what something needs before reacting to it.

Outside of work, that curiosity shows up everywhere.

I follow the Seahawks with irrational optimism. SUPER BOWL 60 CHAMPS. I used to have season tickets with my dad, which means I’ve stood in enough rain to feel spiritually bonded to the Pacific Northwest. These days I watch from the warmth of home, which feels like maturity.

I spend a lot of time in nature and around photography — sometimes professionally, sometimes just because being outside resets my thinking. Light, composition, patience. It all overlaps.

I play a lot of games. Mostly MMOs. I like systems that reward long-term thinking and social dynamics. I also enjoy building tools and guides for other players — character planners, build structures, documentation. It’s hard for me to experience something without wanting to understand and organize it.

That probably says more about me than any job title ever could.

I’m not especially loud. I don’t love filling space with noise. I prefer thinking before responding. I like building things that feel steady. Whether it’s a creative system, a website, a game prototype, or a marketing structure, I’m usually asking the same question:

How does this actually work — and how can it feel better?
