About
I like figuring things out.
Design systems. Games. AI tools. Movies that linger a little too long. Why a website feels intuitive. Why a scene works. Why a tool makes something easier or worse.
Most of what I care about comes back to the same question: how does this actually work, and how can it feel better?
What This Site Is
This site is a personal journal, devlog hub, and general dumping ground for the things I am actively thinking through.
Expect Unreal Engine experiments, AI workflow notes, design process, movie and game criticism, photography, and the occasional side quest that seemed reasonable at the time.
How I Think
I am usually interested in the structure underneath the surface: how a system works, why a design decision feels right or wrong, why a game mechanic clicks, why a movie scene sticks, or why a tool makes a job easier instead of merely louder.
I like practical creativity — the kind where taste, problem-solving, and production reality all have to survive in the same room.
Outside the Useful Adult Stuff
I live in the Pacific Northwest, spend too much time thinking about games and movies, and maintain a deeply unserious relationship with professional sports disappointment.
I like fantasy games, sci-fi, horror, houseplants, photography, strange creative tools, and learning enough about complicated software to become dangerous.
The current stuff lives in the Journal.
This page is the context. The Journal is the signal: devlogs, AI notes, design process, criticism, photography, and whatever else is currently making noise.
