I work at the intersection of creative direction and digital strategy, helping ideas move from sketchbook or whiteboard into something real and functional. My background spans game development, marketing, and web systems, which mostly means I’ve spent a long time learning how to keep complex projects from spiraling into chaos. I care about clarity, sustainable systems, and making creative work feel purposeful instead of frantic.
I guide creative direction with clarity and trust, balancing high standards with a low-stress approach. My background in game development and production taught me how to align people, ideas, and timelines without unnecessary friction. Whether leading a team or working collaboratively across disciplines, I focus on building environments where strong work can happen sustainably.
I design digital frameworks that connect creative work to the right audiences. My experience spans website architecture, SEO foundations, campaign planning, email systems, and analytics-informed decision making. I focus less on chasing trends and more on building durable systems that support steady, meaningful growth.
Much of my work centers on turning complexity into something manageable. From refining production pipelines in game development to structuring marketing calendars and website rebuilds, I look for simple structural solutions that prevent friction later. Clear workflows create space for creativity instead of constraining it.
Creative & Digital Strategy Lead · 2015–Present
I work closely with Art Wolfe to shape how his photography is presented across digital and print platforms. In a small, collaborative environment, I manage website structure, campaign design, publishing workflows, and media production as needed. I also prepare and meticulously edit museum-quality fine art prints, ensuring images translate faithfully from screen to paper for gallery and book projects. The role requires creative judgment, technical precision, and steady execution.
• Lead digital strategy for international tours, fine art print sales, and book launches
• Rebuilding the company website for clarity, performance, and long-term durability
• Edit and prepare high-resolution imagery for museum-quality print production
• Develop structured email campaigns and content releases
• Maintain brand continuity across social platforms
Art Director · 2008–2015
Previously 2D Designer & Texture Artist (2001–2003) · 3D Environment Artist (2003–2008) · Intern (1999)
I joined Her Interactive as an intern while studying at The Art Institute of Seattle and grew into the role of Art Director over nearly a decade. I began as a 2D designer and texture artist, later owning full 3D environments from layout and navigation to lighting and atmosphere. By the time I stepped into leadership, I understood the production pipeline from the ground up. The studio worked on tight development schedules, where reliability and clear communication mattered more than hierarchy.
• Directed art production across 16 shipped titles
• Introduced a grey-box development phase to reduce late-stage production bottlenecks
• Led collaboration between art, design, animation, and engineering
• Managed hiring, team structure, and performance decisions
• Balanced creative ambition with production budgets during post-recession restructuring
Ongoing Creative & Technical Exploration
I’ve spent most of my career with two organizations, preferring depth and long-term collaboration over constant movement. At the same time, I maintain an independent practice of exploring new tools and technologies, driven by curiosity more than obligation.
I experiment with Unreal Engine, refine web and UX approaches, and integrate AI-assisted workflows into research and creative production. Whether building digital systems or trying to keep houseplants alive, I tend to approach new challenges with patient observation and steady refinement.
• Unreal Engine prototyping
• AI-assisted workflow development and prompt engineering
• UX refinement and performance optimization
• Toolchain improvement across creative and marketing processes
• Practical experimentation with emerging technologies
New tools show up. I learn them.
Over 25 years, my work has moved fluidly across game development, creative direction, digital design, and marketing systems. I began as a 3D environment artist, grew into art direction, and now focus on hybrid creative–strategic execution — building design systems, digital platforms, and marketing frameworks.
