Hollowlight has been rebuilt from scratch with cleaner systems, a stronger RPG foundation, and a more achievable path toward combat, enemies, and a full test level.
Hollowlight is a dark fantasy first-person dungeon crawler inspired by King’s Field and Ultima Underworld. I started it as a way to finally learn Unreal Blueprint by building something real, and this first devlog covers the early vertical slice systems that are making the project feel like an actual game.
